Level 1: Uphill Efficiency

Ski touring all begins with an understanding of how to efficiently move. From stride length, to body positioning and pacing, we can all improve our ability to travel uphill faster and more efficiently. It is my passion to improve my personal efficiency so that I may best help you do so as well.

Level 2: Fitness Optimization

Whether you ski tour for the downhill, are a racer or just enjoy going up the resort before work, fitness is the key piece to making the experience better. I pride myself in my dedication to helping clients improve their fitness through in person interval work, heart rate training and a focus on rate of perceived exertion.

Level 3: Backcountry Introduction

Touring in the backcountry gives us adventurers the freedom to find spiritual connections with our earth in a quiet winter environment. Getting into the backcountry, however, requires a set of skills and a knowledge base to ensure safe recreation. Upon establishing a relationship with my clients, I aspire to show them the wonders of the wild and to hone in on safety.
